Winged Heart Celtic Cross Design

This Celtic Cross design is one of the Winged Heart creations based on Celtic designs inspired by the Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript created by monks during the 6th century when Celtic traditions became fused with the newly developed Christian religion.

These designs became to have symbolic meanings to the Celts. The remnants of the Book of Kells can be viewed at Trinity College, Dublin.
